Farm Direct - Lamb for your Freezer
High Quality Meat
Order your home raised lamb grown on our farm.
Our lambs are grown out on pasture and grain without antibiotics or growth hormones. We do vaccinate for disease and worm all lambs. Note: For a nice mild flavor we do add a grains to their diet.
We will take orders throughout the year for freezer lamb available August - November.
Lambs are available live or already ready for your freezer.
You can
process the meat yourself or we would be happy to arrange processing
through a commercial processor for you. Just pick up the cut and
wrapped meat that has been cut to your specifications.
Typically a JSF lamb will be ready for processing between 6 - 8 months of age. Our lamb carcasses hang at approximately 65-75 lbs (ends up being a full box of meat, or one freezer shelf depending on the cuts you order).
Cuts of meat from lamb:
Leg: Leg whole or rolled, steaks
Shanks
Ribs: Chops, Rib roast, Rack of Lamb
Loin: Chops, roast
Shoulder: Steaks, Roasts
Other: Ground meat, stew meat, riblets
Bones for your dogs
