Thursday, March 5

I didn't get any photos on the ship today.

This day was a bit of a blur to me.  Spent a very restless night with the stormy weather.  The wind kept hitting our balcony, whistling and banging things.  I probably should have brought some Dramamine but I've never needed it before.

Sat on deck 13 over looking the pool deck for part of the early afternoon.  We signed up for the wine tasting at 1:00 p.m. which was "hosted" by Darrell Scott.  The wines highlighted were all from Italy.  Mark even discovered that he could find a drinkable red..for him.  I actually felt a bit better after the wines and cheese sampler plate. Afterwards we had a snack since we had not had anything substantial since breakfast.

Mark and I had our dinner at Le Bistro for our anniversary package during the early evening.  The dinner was very nice.  I had the rack of lamb and it was cooked rare as I asked and was excellent. I wish we had been hungrier.  The package included a cake which we took back to our room.  We didn't finish the wine (which wasn't overly impressive, probably should have asked for an upgrade).  Dropped the cake at our room and found the canapés that came with our package there...no way we could eat them.  Carried them down to the Pearly Kings Pub and left them on the table after hanging out for awhile.

The only show we caught that night was Kathleen Edwards.

Announcements were made that the private island stop would not happen due to rough water as it is a tender port.  We headed towards Nassau instead.
